Human Resource Development Authority
The Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA) is a Public Body in Cyprus since 1979.
The main responsibility of HRDA is to create the prerequisites for the planned and systematic training and development of human resources in Cyprus, at all levels and in all sectors in order to meet the needs of the economy in the context of social and economic policies.
To accomplish its mission HRDA operates the Human Resource Development Fund. Every employer (except the Government) must pay to the Fund a fee not exceeding 1% of emoluments payable to each of the employees on a monthly basis.
